Hacienda Makaria is a gorgeous oasis spanning 5 acres of lush desert landscape. Cactus gardens, vegetable gardens, intimate dining areas, a playground complete with a tree house, an authentic teepee, a rooftop patio with panoramic views of Tucson, and a fully functioning “outhouse” are just some of the surprises waiting to be discovered.

The stables Event Space for meetings

Perfect for meetings, conferences, and indoor events, The Stables features 1800 square feet with a bathroom, lounge area, a dry catering kitchen, and a 65 inch television perfect for movies, slideshows, or presentations. Custom, hand-painted murals grace the walls and add a touch of rustic whimsy that will delight guests of all ages.

Hacienda Makaria is also home to goats, chickens, tortoises, a bunny, and a few “ranch hands”, aka doggies. With permission, you are welcome to pay a visit to any of these special and friendly animals; just please be sure to properly close and latch all gates upon entering and exiting as our “ranch hands” mentioned above lack in the herding department!
